COMMUNITY Investors from all levels connect to each other and share investment ideas at Tivid. Investing is a serious matter though it should also have an element of fun. Tivid aims to create a fun and exciting environment where community members create personal connections, help members achieve wealth objectives, join different sub-interest groups, exchange ideas and messages on any investment-related subject. Our solutions might benefit members by: Tivid members can: - Connect with their friends - Communicate with community through blogs, articles and message boards - Exchange investment ideas - Test themselves by creating personal portfolios - Join in virtual competitions to compete with others. Start their private competitions by setting their own rules - Discuss their portfolios with others - Become analysts, rate stocks and estimate company earnings and revenues - Answer polls, create their own polls - Create interest groups TECHNOLOGY Tivid claims that the community always does better. Tivid believes that a group decision will yield better investment outcomes than an individual's decision. Though all the investors in the world can be considered as a big community, there are members in that community who can consistently outperform the average. So, any investment decision weighed in by those investors will usually be a good one. Using this theory algorithm developed by Tivid is applied on the community activities in order to pick the top stocks. Every member of the Tivid community contributes to the trading decisions proportional to their investment knowledge measured by their T-Score (Tivid score). STOCK PICKS Tivid's propreitary algorithm finds the community's top stock picks everyday before markets open and they are published on Stock pages. Note that top stocks picking will start after the population of the community reaches to a certain threshold. RESULTS To be able to compare community's top picks Tivid created its own index called Tivid Index. Tivid Index is computed from Tivid top picks starting from the market opening and updated frequently throughout the day. It is compared against commonly accepted indexes such as S&P 500. |
